The Champions League of Dancing as a Guest in Tyrol!

The World Masters Innsbruck has made a name for itself in the dance world over the last few decades and is taking place for the 33rd time this year. Innsbruck is a fixed date for the best of the best in dance sport.

In the dance world, the WORLD MASTERS and INNSBRUCK are synonymous with an elegant, top-class, and perfectly organized dance event, both for the participants and the audience.

The importance and value of Innsbruck as a venue and Ferry Polai as an organizer in the World Dance Council (WDC), the world federation of professionals, is demonstrated by the fact that a total of four World Championships and one European Championship have been awarded to our country for hosting in recent years.

The next World Masters will take place on March 29, 2025, another top-level dance event in Tyrol. The tournament will be held at the Congress Innsbruck – Saal Tirol, in this familiar and impressive ambiance. An exciting and breathtaking competition awaits us, held between the world's best Latin American dancers.

But that's not all! This year, we are again offering a first-class and comprehensive supporting program – the following tournaments will take place:

34th World Masters

See the world's best dancers in Latin American dances and be carried away by their excellent body control and perfection. The preliminary rounds of the World Masters take place from approx. 1:00 p.m. You can enjoy the final rounds from 7:30 p.m.

14th PTVÖ AL AUSTRIAN Amateur League

Amateurs of all age groups in Standard and Latin dances

Several classes are offered under this name.

This class is already at a slightly higher level. Dancers who have outgrown the popular sports class and have their choreographies (which are subject to a step limitation) and train regularly in their dance sport clubs can start in this class. This class is the future for dance sport; it is the first step after popular sport on the way to the top of the international business! Here, 4 dances are danced, in Standard the EW, TG, WW, and QS, in Latin CC, SA, RU, and JI, and there is a strict dress code. Competition clothing with rhinestones is not yet allowed here.

A rising star in the dance sport sky. In this class, the couples dance the first open choreographies without step limitation, the level becomes better and more demanding, and the clothing also changes. From this class on, real competition clothing is allowed, so there are no limits to the imagination, and one can already orient oneself on international couples regarding dance style and clothing! Here, all 5 dances are now danced in both disciplines!

The Open AL is the highest class in the PTVÖ AL Austria and at the same time the so-called international class, in which one can then participate in major international tournaments at home and abroad. Here, new world and European champions are crowned; the heart of every dancer beats for the moment of having danced their way up to this class! Amateur dance sport at the highest level – that is what the Super League of the PTVÖ AL Austria stands for!

12th ProAm Masters

An amateur dances with their professional trainer

The concept of Dancing Stars not just on TV! An inexperienced dancer is guided into the world of dancing with the help of their professional. But these amateurs also train very hard and regularly and, at first glance, in their often perfect gowns, can hardly be distinguished from the professional by laypeople.
